Field Trip Emergency Contact Details

Please read and agree to the following Terms & Conditions that relate to your Field Trip attendance. Please also add an emergency contact name and number.

I agree to hold NZFSS & OnCue Conference and Events Ltd harmless, and to waive any rights to make a claim against NZFSS or OnCue or any of its members and/or guests involved with the planning or running of this field trip, with respect to any injury or loss suffered through my involvement with any field trips.
 
I recognise and assume all risks and responsibility with respect to my own safety and the safety of any others involved with, at, or in this field trip.

I understand that I will be advised at the conference about the physical and safety requirements and the hazards and their mitigations of the field trip I have selected to attend. I will also be given the opportunity to advise the field trip organisers of any special requirements I have and ask any speicfic questions in relation to this field trip. 

Under the Privacy Act 1993, I agree to NZFSS collecting and maintaining this information for the purposes of ensuring that information necessary for Health & Safety in an emergency is available.

KINDNESS IN SCIENCE

The NZFSS 2024 conference committee supports Kindness in Science and as such would like to offer delegates with young children (< 3 years old) support so that they can attend the conference. We will provide a Family Room at the conference venue as well as connect parent delegates with local child-care services.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Manager, shelley@on-cue.co.nz
Cancellation before 11 October 2024 will incur a $100.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellation on or after 12 October 2024 will be at the discretion of the organising committee. 
All refunds will be processed after the conference. Substitute delegates are welcome without penalty, but please advise On-Cue of any name change, for administration purposes. There will be no refunds for any booked delegate who does not attend on the day.

Disclaimer:
In the event of industrial disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances that disrupt the conference, the conference organisers accept no responsibility. The information on the conference website and in the printed collateral is correct at the time of publication. However, the conference organisers reserve the right to change information.  The conference organisers disclaim any and all liability to any person in respect of the consequences of any failure to operate, accident or injury which may occur on services reserved.
The right is reserved to add, withdraw or substitute speakers and vary the advertised programme.
If the conference is cancelled for any reason beyond the organiser's control, there is no right of exchange and no obligation is assumed by the organisers for arranging a substitute speaker. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the conference, the liability of the organisers is limited to the return of paid fees and where an event may be postponed and the option of re-attending is not suitable, a cancellation can be made by writing to the conference organiser and on acceptance, there would be a return of paid fees less $100 for administration costs.

Insurance:
Delegates are encouraged to take out personal travel and medical insurance which includes loss or damage of personal possessions, including loss of registration and accommodation fees through cancellation.

Privacy:
Unless you indicate otherwise on the registration form, the organisers will include your name on the list of conference participants distributed to delegates and sponsors.
