Course registration fee includes the Tree Risk Assessment Manual, and TRAQ Workbook, along with lunch and tea breaks during the two and a half days of training.

Prerequisites

The following credentials have been accepted as prerequisites for taking the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification.

We have included sample certificates for you to determine if a candidate meets the minimum specified requirements to sit for the exam. 

Important information before you register for a Full TRAQ Course: If you do not have the exact same credential that is listed you will need to complete an ISA appeal form, this can take up to 3-6 weeks for a response.  If you are travelling from out of town, we recommend that you do not book accommodation/travel until your credential has been vetted and approved by the ISA.  Registration closes on the 8th of May and you will receive confirmation if your registration has been accepted approx. 3-4 weeks before the course start date.

• AHC30810 Certificate III in Arboriculture (Australia) – important: check your quals code is actually AHC30810, if it is not, please email your credential certificate and transcript to traq@trees.org.au as soon as possible, we will check with the ISA for vetting which can take 3-6 weeks, Arb Aus can’t guarantee you will be accepted onto the course.

If you hold a credential or have completed a program of study that is not listed above and you're unsure your credentials meet the criteria to register and be accepted onto the TRAQ course, go to TRAQ Eligibility Appeal for information on submitting an appeal. You're also welcome to email us in advance to traq@trees.org.au
Please be aware that the appeals process could take 3-6 weeks.

TRAQ Agreement

By applying to participate in a TRAQ event, I authorize the ISA to make my registration and contact information available to the local chapter / associate organisation.

I agree to the terms, conditions, and policies outlined in the Tree Risk Assessment Candidate Application Guide - TRAQ Application Guide and agree to the following cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy:

·        All registration fees must be paid in full before the registration deadline date by credit card or Purchase order. If no payment has been provided before the registration deadline date, 19 June 2025, you will not be accepted onto the course. 

·        Cancellations must be notified in writing to traq@trees.org.au

·        Cancellation/transfers before the registration deadline date will incur an AUD $80.00 cancellation fee

·        No refunds or transfers will be granted after the registration deadline

·        The attendee must meet the pre-requisites before registering

·        A minimum number of attendees is required to run the TRAQ course, if the minimum number is not reached by the registration deadline date, Arb Australia has the right to cancel the course and a full refund will be provided
